About
I am a philosopher at the University of Birmingham, UK. I work mostly at the intersection of philosophy of mind, psychology, and cognitive science, with additional interests in the epistemology of perception. Much of the work I have done to date has focused on the nature and origins of delusional beliefs, as well as on their epistemic standing. To find out more, please see my Research page.
I completed my PhD in 2020 at the University of Birmingham. Before coming to Birmingham, I obtained a BA and MA in philosophy from the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan, and a second MA in philosophy from Durham University. I was also a visiting scholar at Yale in Spring 2019, collaborating with Phil Corlett on research into Bayesian models of psychosis.
